Security company owner Rahl Vendetti returned from Afghanistan with his own issues, including a vicious monster doing its best to inflict devastation on all of his relationships.
They have plenty of chemistry, but do they have the ability to be what the other needs outside of the bedroom, too? **We received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review**
"When you realize the rest of the world is only noise and I'm the song that can save you, I'll be waiting to sing for you....and only you."
The story of Rahl Vendetti and Sage Whiteman isn't the kind of fairy tale we read about as children. It's full of uncertainty, hesitation, heartache and love.
Rest, My Love is a book that I didn't want to end.....like... EVER. I've added it to my "must read again" list and I bet you will too.
PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) is ugly, and Jules Dixon captured it perfectly. Rahl Vendetti will break your heart, piss you off, and then piece your heart back together before he steals it.
Thank you for the review. Rahl and Sage hold a very dear place in my heart.
ReplyDeleteHappy Reading Always,
